The Temerity was first developed in 2004 as a single ended KT88 amplifier. Whilst not a popular amplifier (only 6 were made) the owners are very fanatical about their amplifiers.
The decision was made to stop production in June 2006.
Next year in 2012 the Temerity will be reintroduced as a Ultra-linear connected KT120 single ended amplifier having close to 20 watts per channel output. It will use a simplified circuit with just two gain stages (6SL7) driving a Tung-sol KT120 output tube. Parts count will be at a bare minimum allowing for very good quality components whilst still maintaining an affordable price of $1595.00.
